ADVANTAGES
The PickItUp
works on a simple cable winch. He grabs forcefully without biting his teeth. The PickItUp
reliably grabs objects in the borehole and brings them up. It can easily be opened and closed in the borehole.
Usage with a common winch:
- Lower the opened PickItUp gripper into the borehole.
- Ease the cable until the PickItUp reaches the ground. Ease further to achieve an additional slackness of around 10 cm.
- Pull the cable – PickItUp closes.
- Lift the closed PickItUp from the borehole.
- Put the PickItUp on the ground, standing on the tips of its jaws. Slacken the cable ca. 10 cm again.
- Retighten the cable – PickItUp opens.
Special Features:
- Should the PickItUp get stuck in the borehole while trying to grip something, it can easily be reopened by slackening the cable, even if it is in a half-closed state.
- The construction ensures a very reliable grip on compact objects.
- The PickItUp is maintenance-free.
- The gripper jaws are made from hardened stainless steel.
- All parts are nickel-plated.
